Company Announcement: Driving Descon Forward
As part of our growth strategy, Descon’s President & CEO David Farquhar shifted his role after 27 years to Chairman of the Board and established an Advisory Committee to help guide the future growth of Descon and our leadership team.
The Descon Integrated Conveyor Solutions Difference
Descon’s office and manufacturing facility remained open for business to help keep customers’ lines going in challenging 2020 times.
As a committed partner, we assured all clients that we would continue to provide the necessary support that their business requires to ensure their lines were running at high efficiency, despite reduced or halted onsite support.
Descon’s Safety Measures – COVID-19
As we continued to serve our customers amid the pandemic, we remained aware of our responsibilities to our employees and to the community at large to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Together as a team, we remain diligent in maintaining a safe work environment while keeping our employees informed on how to protect themselves and those around them.
We continue to follow the guidelines set out by Public Health, our Provincial Government, and the WHO.
2020 Charitable Initiatives
In lieu of sending holiday cards, Descon made donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Inn from the Cold, and Newmarket Food Pantry.
We believe it’s important to support our local community during unprecedented times, and are committed to continuing these initiatives in the year ahead.
