Case Handling (Roller style)

Two types of roller style case conveyor are available: (1) zero pressure and (2) low pressure.

Zero pressure roller conveyor ensures that the conveyed packages never touch each other, maintaining product integrity and separation required for most robotic palletizing applications. Descon utilizes Interroll smart roller drive technology, where a series of control modules are mounted to the side of the conveyor frame. Controllers communicate to adjacent modules and drive the DC motor driven rollers.

Low pressure roller conveyor ensures a low cost accumulation solution suitable for robust packages. Rollers incorporate slip clutches between its outer bearing and roller. The outer bearing is driven transferring motion to the roller. The slip clutch allows the roller to stop motion when pressure is applied to it.
