A full line of case conveyor based on the use of modular belts is ideally suited for the handling of many of today’s most difficult packages:
-
Lithographic painted paperboard cases
-
Bundles (4, 6 and 8pks) requiring secondary packaging (film only, tray w/film or paper board)
-
Plastic shells
-
Cases
Whether transporting, inclining, turning, accumulating, we can accomplish these goals at very high rates while maintaining product integrity.
Applications:
-
Transport: Sensitive cases are transported without slippage or rolling between product and belting so scuffing is eliminated. Nose-over type transfers can be used to transfer from one conveyor to another. Product orientation is always maintained without the need for side rails.
-
Curves: Side flexing modular belting allows cases to change direction while maintaining orientation relative to the belt path.
-
Metering & Case Turning: Friction top belting is used to create pitch between cases prior to case turning. Dual belt case turners are used to turn cases through differential belt speeds.
-
High speed (near) zero pressure accumulation: Heavy duty accumulation conveyor consists of two (2) strands of roller chain to move sensitive cases. Air bags are used to automatically engage the roller chain to the product for transport and disengage for accumulation.
-
Low back pressure accumulation: LBP (low back pressure) belting is used to create a simple, yet effective means of accumulating small packages that can withstand the effects of some pressure.
