DESCON Conveyor Systems (Newmarket, ON) is an industry leader in the design, manufacture and installation of high-speed conveyor systems and packaging equipment. We are looking for exceptional candidates for the following positions:

Jr. MECHANICAL DESIGN/ PROJECT MANAGER (Solidworks)
Responsible for the mechanical design, fit and functionality of new conveyor systems and related packaging machinery. Position involves the generation of detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, project management, sourcing/purchasing and contribution to the design of new products. Ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a strong working knowledge of Solidworks.
Responsibilities: start-up and commissioning of complex packaging lines and equipment; advanced programming changes based on line observation; project management updates and achieve Customer sign-off.

Jr./Int. CONTROLS ENGINEER(S)
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-years experience in the startup and commissioning of automated equipment, electrical control systems, Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming, DeviceNet, ControlNet and Ethernet communication networks. Expert knowledge of variable frequency drives, distributed I/O systems, digital and analog circuits and communication networks is required. Proficiency in using AutoCad, strong analytical and communication skills would be considered definite assets. Travel 30-40% annually is required.

ONSITE CONTROLS ENGINEER
Requirements: minimum 5-years experience in the startup and commissioning of automated equipment, electrical control systems, Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming, DeviceNet, ControlNet and Ethernet communication networks; expert knowledge of variable frequency drives, distributed I/O systems, digital and analog circuits and communication networks; AutoCad proficiency; strong analytical and communication skills; travel 40-60% annually (North America).
