Dry Trash Removal Systems
Descon has two (2) models of dry trash removal systems each suited to meet the needs of a particular application.
Our Horizontal Dry Trash Removal System (HDTRS) is suited for applications where the infeed and discharge elevation are the same. By means of a rough top belt and specially design stainless steel guides, shells are tipped 90-degrees to the side, transported and then gently returned to their original configuration prior to discharging the machine. While tipped, a high-pressure fan blows dry trash from the shell into a mobile catch basket (supplied).
Our Vertical Dry Trash Removal System (VDTRS) is ideally suited to applications requiring a high-infeed elevation and low discharge elevation. Shells enter the infeed in an upright position, and then are inverted twice through 180-degree chute work, prior to discharging in an upright position. During the inverting motion, dry trash is deposited into a stainless steel dump chute. This unit reduces required floor space and does not contain any motorized devices.
